Gully Boy is being screened at the Berlin Film Festival, and while most of the reviews are on embargo, looks like we do have the first reaction on how the film is and what one can expect. Baradwaj Rangan, a popular critic though seemed to have a complaint from the audiences as they missed the energy one gets in India, the film does not lack energy in any form and he also admitted that he was fine with no whistles at the first appearance of Ranveer and Alia.

He further added how the film has a smooth run and he, in fact, couldn't say when the interval card would have appeared. He went on to praise the songs and also had a reference to how he kept thinking about Rock On when the theatre had turned into a mini concert hall. Looks like the film is about to get a huge thumbs up from the critics and the viewers alike, just as the trailer and the so many songs have got.

The film, as known, revolves around the life of rapper Divine and Naezy, and as the film screened at the festival for the first time, everyone is now excited to finally see it in theatres next week. The film is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
